My name is Ntangu and every morning I take inventory of my bites. Not wasp or mosquito bites, no! Rather, it's the word I found to represent the hurtful comments I receive about my skin, my hair or my origins. I don't know if people realize that they hurt me.

Malika Tirolien is an internationally renowned singer-songwriter of Guadeloupean origin. This is her first children's book. She is also a spokesperson for Amnesty Canada since 2022. Kiara Thompson is a recent graduate from Montreal and full of promise. Ntangu is her first youth album.
