Which books should you choose to energize your lessons? How can you highlight the French-speaking community in your local area? What simple and engaging activities can you create around picture books, novels, and comics?
You’ll discover a selection of titles for all ages and levels, practical tools to help you prepare your lesson plans, and a space for open discussion among teachers to share questions, ideas, and experiences.
Special attention will be given to cultural outreach, local resources, and opportunities to meet the artists behind the books.

WHO IS MÉLISSA?
Mélissa Baril is a cultural mediator, founder of Caribou à lunettes.
Surrounded by books, she remains on the lookout for novelties, which she carefully selects for their editorial quality and their representativeness of today's world. She is in contact with publishers, authors and illustrators to create a link with readers. She also listens to families and teachers and seeks solutions to their challenges. She herself creates playful literary workshops that engage children and stimulate their thinking.
