Late in the 60s, South Bronx, New York, a neighborhood and families left behind. Marcus and Aaron, two brothers, grow up in a climate of social violence. In the midst of a gang war, everyone goes to the streets to find, in their own way, how to survive. Marcus is all over the place and gets into the dance body and soul. Aaron finds refuge in graffiti. Between fiction and documented historical narrative, we (re)discover, through the eyes of Marcus and Aaron, how the creative energy of young people from the Bronx gave birth to DJing, rap, breakdance and even graffiti. A few years later, these artistic disciplines will constitute a major and international cultural movement: Hip Hop.
