Baggage - The film

Original Idea by Mélissa Lefebvre
Directed by Paul Tom

Produced by Picbois Production
2017, 52 min

Baggage is a moving documentary that gives voice to young immigrants aged 12 to 17, new to Montreal. Thanks to drama workshops, they give us an open heart about their journey and their thoughts. Their youth hides a disconcerting maturity, and the emotions they convey leave no one unmoved. These young people bear witness to an "elsewhere" and a "before" which will become "here" and "now".

The film is in French, with English subtitles.
Screening rights to be paid for educational institutions.
