Martin Luther King, Jr was raised in a family of pastors. One day, a friend invited him to play at his house, but the boy's mother refused to let Martin in because of the color of his skin. He then realized that something was wrong. He promised himself that, when he grew up, he would fight injustice, and that he would do so with the most formidable of weapons: words. Today, his name is associated with the birth of the great movement against racial segregation in the United States.
