Whether beaded, adorned with moose hair or porcupine quills, the moccasin has been worn by most Indigenous people for generations. It is undoubtedly the best known and most widespread element of the First Nations sartorial tradition. As much worn on a daily basis as during pow-wows, the moccasin is an integral part of our lives, of our myths.
