Bagages, mon histoire brings together 15 touching and powerful poems written by teenagers who have just immigrated to Quebec. They are illustrated with magnificent portraits by the artist Rogé.
For several years now, author Simon Boulerice has been giving writing workshops to newcomers at Paul-Guérin-Lajoie high school. Several of those words crept into Bagages, the play. Then traces of their poetry were deposited in Bagages, the documentary. And finally they are highlighted in this book.
