A few years ago, India Desjardins met a young girl with leukemia, who asked her if she could write "A story of cancer that ends well, with love at the end", adding that it "would give hope".
It is therefore to give hope that the author has decided to tell the story of this fifteen-year-old girl who, after her treatments, has an appointment with her doctor to find out about her state of health and crosses the hospital corridor to her final diagnosis. She recalls her memories, her difficult times and her happier times. But it will all end well. It was a promise.
