When Cole gets caught drawing in class, his teacher decides to force him to do some extra work: he will have to give an oral presentation on a prominent figure in Aboriginal history. Cole is willing to do anything to avoid speaking in front of the class, even pretending to be sick. That is until he discovers the exceptional story of Thanadelthur, ambassador of peace between the Cree-Dene and interpreter of the governor of Fort York. Inspired by his courage, he overcomes his fears.
